All that glitters is (not) gold

The holidays are over and it’s time to take down the tree, decorations and put away the cards. Often times what we are left with are the remnants of those glass bulbs custom made by a relative with your name glued onto it in glitter, pine needles and those silly cards with plastic metallic shapes that explode all over you when you open it up. None of these stay where they are supposed to and end up all over your clothes furniture and carpets, so how do we get rid of these pesky remnants?

The solution to this problem is very simple. You could use masking tape but it takes a multitude of strips and often times leave a lot behind. Vacuuming the carpet will take care of that problem but for the rest go to your local pet store or home improvement center and pic up a roller meant to remove pet hairs. Make sure to replace each roller strip when full of debris to ensure removal of all remnants. If you have a pet that sheds try using a dishwashing glove or a neoprene disposable glove and swipe across the material to remove hairs before using roller.

Go ahead and give it a try, I think you will be amazed at the results!
